  • I am most comfortable and experienced with providing support for 3-12 year olds.

  • I don’t provide direct occupational therapy services to your child. I only work directly with the parent.

  • My decision stems from a deep understanding gained through years of experience in both school and clinic settings. In these environments, I've observed the limited time dedicated to parent education. While occupational therapy plays a pivotal role in your child's development, I've come to recognize that the real magic happens when these skills are reinforced and practiced consistently at home. By working closely with parents, I aim to empower them with the knowledge and tools necessary to support their child's progress outside of therapy sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to their development.

  • After years of experience in both school, at home, and clinic settings, I noticed a glaring gap in parent education when it came to understanding and supporting their child's sensory needs. While occupational therapy is crucial for a child's development, its effectiveness can be greatly enhanced when parents are equipped with the knowledge and tools to continue the progress at home.

That's why I've made it my mission to prioritize parent education and support. By empowering parents with a deep understanding of their child's sensory processing differences, along with practical strategies and resources, we create a collaborative partnership that extends far beyond therapy sessions.

At Carolina Sensory Solutions we believe that when parents are educated and supported, the entire family thrives.
